GASTRIC CALIBRATION TUBE

The gastric calibration tube is a device used in bariatric surgery to perform gastroplasties such as sleeve gastrectomy, bypass or placement of a perigastric ring. It comes in the form of a silicone tube with or without an inflatable balloon. It is used to calibrate the stomach during the operations, and the inflation of the balloon makes it possible to create a gastric pouch below which a gastric band will be placed.

Reference MST-36

The MST-36 silicone gastric tube is a single-use, sterile device, 12 mm in diameter (36 Fr), used in obesity surgery to perform gastroplasty.

It has a flexible silicone tube finished with a conical tip to facilitate introduction, multiple holes of 5 mm diameter to facilitate aspiration or injection of liquid or air into the stomach, and a balloon which can be inflated with air over a portion of the circumference of the tube.

  • Asymmetrical inflatable balloon, inflation volume from 20 to 40ml

  • Length 800mm

  • Centimeter scale, with a first mark 40cm from the distal end

  • Radio opaque line along the probe

  • Size: 36 UK

  • Length: 800mm

  • 5 perforations for injection / aspiration

Reference MST-38

The MST-38 silicone gastric tube is a single-use, sterile device, with a diameter of 12.7 mm (38 Fr), used in obesity surgery to perform gastroplasty.

  • Size: 38 UK

  • Length: 800mm

  • 5 perforations for injection / aspiration

Reference MST-AF

The MST AF is a disposable, sterile silicone gastric tube, diameter 38 FR (12.7 mm), used in obesity surgery to perform gastroplasty. It has a conical tip pierced in the distal part as well as 8 other 5 mm diameter holes to facilitate aspiration or injection of liquid or air into the stomach.

  • WITHOUT inflatable balloon

  • Length 800mm

  • Centimeter scale, with a first mark 40cm from the distal end
